Logic Forward & Rewind Transport Controls

In this tutorial I will be covering Key Commands for Transport Controls in Logic Pro X. These are keyboard shortcuts which will really help you speed things up when you’re working in the Logic DAW. I have been using Logic Pro for almost 20 years now and for a good portion of that time I was completely unaware of the very simple transport controls that were right there at my disposal. As is often the case you develop a habit of doing things a particular way and even though there might be other more efficient methods available we keep on taking the long road. The fact is, had I known about these controls from the beginning I wouldn’t have wasted so much time and expanded so much effort using my mouse to navigate around the Logic Pro interface. So have you been using the forward and rewind keyboard controls? Or are you still using the mouse to click your way back and forth all along? Or would you like to be able to use a simple key command to get you right there?

Logic GoTo Position Shortcut

How about those situations when you know exactly what bar or time frame you want to go to. Are you still using your mouse to get there or would you like to learn about the great GoTo Position key command that will put you exactly at the spot where you want to work? Well all of this and more is covered in my video on transport controls. I’ve also touched on other important points giving examples of how these tools can be used to enhance your workflow and improve the way you go about working in the Logic Pro environment.
